Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

When I'm composing a Text email, the toolbars look fine.

But if I switch my text email to an HTML formatted one, a second formatting toolbar appears underneath the original formatting toolbar. It has HTML-only formatting functions on it.

Logically this is all fine, but I am trying to conserve as much *vertical* space as I can and having 2 small toolbars on top of eachother would be better if I could have them next to each other. I don't understand why Ubuntu deviated from the normal Evo behavior in this one.

1. Open a blank compose window
2. Select "HTML" in the toolbar
3. A second toolbar appears below the standard one. This one has only HTML related functions in it.

I lose about 35-40% of screen to the entire "header" (from, to, cc, bcc, subject, toolbar + HTML toolbar)

sucks!! :(

where else do you suggest displaying this toolbar?

How about next to the existing toolbar, allow float or even (gasp!) let the user move the toolbar around and dock it how they need it. :)
