This bug also present in Ubuntu 13.10 file manager (Files v3.8.2) when you create new file or folder and type it name for the first time.

This bug was fixed in Ubuntu 14.04 file manager (Files v3.10.1) in regular windows. But when you create new folder in "Save As" dialog windows this bug still appears.
