[Maverick only] Can't select files after changing sort setting in Gnome file chooser

Bug Description

This bug only occurs in Maverick. When changing a sort setting by clicking on a column heading, I can no longer select any files until I close the dialog and open it again.

I can reproduce in lucid.
I think this bug is the same as #593201.

FWIW, this bug is still there on Lucid 10.04 LTS.
