Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdm

The gdm dialog has recently started kinda not redrawing the screen properly. If I choose my name, the window shrinks and leaves black bars behind rather than the background. If i get the password wrong it goes back to the logon dialog correctly but has even bigger black bars around it.

Two photos attached, black bars are hard to see but they are there both above and below the logon dialog.

Yes I can confrim this is happening on Ubuntu 9.10. Running Ubuntu Studio, see the login screen and background. Login in, but black lines still stay present.

Changed in gdm (Ubuntu):
status: New → Confirmed
