Also happens with brand new Kubuntu 14.04 LTS

Eclipse version: Kepler SR1 + J8
Using gtk2 with oxygen-gtk
   (since Eclipse on gtk3 isn't usable at all on this box).

Most likely related to the Variables view, too.
