Comment 2 for bug 37777

hello Daniel, I am sorry but it looks like I didn't manage to get my point across properly: the side pane I am referring to is the one in gthumb. Suppose you have a few pics in, say, folder1 and folder1 is currently highlighted in gthumb's side pane (I mean the one with the dir tree), in the picture area you'll get a "no picture" message, you'll then have to double click on the folder to chdir into it and only then will the previews be displayed, you see what I mean?
