Actually the bug-reporting app didn't attach very much info due to the package.
If this is still occurring on Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" can you please tell us which CPU and video card/chip you have? If it works OK on 12.10 feel free to change the status of this bug from "New" to "Fix Released".
