Comment 31 for bug 35112

Even though mp3 is not officially supported I think it's very bad that this bug is not fixed for over two (2!!) years.
I understand the reasons to not officially support mp3 but it's a quasi-standard in the digital world.

Does anybody work on this bug any more? Or will we have it still in Ubuntu 10.10? This is one of the bugs who dissapoint non-technophile users very much.
