Erik B. Andersen (azendale) wrote : When visulization is changed to or from monoscope and totem is playing .spx file, an "internal data stream error" occurs

Binary package hint: totem

When I play the "Aesop's_Fables,_Volume_1_(Fable_1)_-_The_Fox_and_The_Grapes.spx" file (which is included in the example files for Lucid) and I click on the Edit (menu) > Preferences and then the Display (tab) and change the type of visualization to or from monoscope, I get an error window that says "An error occurred <blank line> Internal data stream error". The file stops playing and the visualization freezes, but if you click play again, totem will play the file from the starting (not where you left off) and the visualization will work.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the Aesop's Fables file I mentioned
2. Go to Edit > Preferences, then go to the display tab.
3. If the type of visualization is monoscope,
          switch it to something else.
    otherwise,
          switch it to monoscope.
4. Notice the error message.

Now that you have seen the error message, let's see what it's supposed to do:
1. Open the Aesop's Fables file I mentioned
2. Go to Edit > Preferences, then go to the display tab.
3. If you have monoscope as the type of visulization,
switch it to something else, click OK on the error message, and click play again on the main totem window.
4. Change the visualization from any non-monoscope one to any other non-monoscope one. Notice that the visulization changes, the song keeps playing, and there is no error message.

I will attach a video.
