I did
dd if=/dev/zero bs=512 seek=976772001 of=/dev/sdX on each disk.
Though i'm not sure if seek should have been one less, do you know that? Anyway, grub-install now only shows:
sudo grub-install /dev/sda error: superfluous RAID member (4 found). error: superfluous RAID member (4 found). error: superfluous RAID member (4 found). error: superfluous RAID member (4 found). error: superfluous RAID member (4 found). Installation finished. No error reported.
What does it mean? Is that bad?
