Despues de estar completamente instalado, en el gestor de actualizaciones me sugeria hacer algunos updates mas, al hacerlo y casi para finalizar el proceso salio el error mencionado.

Ubuntu se congelo y para arreglarlo tuve que entrar en modo a prueba de errores. Actualmente funciona bien, peo ignoro si el problema esta resuelto.

Could you please run the following command in a terminal (all on 1 line)
$ sudo DEBCONF_DEBUG='.*' sh -x /var/lib/dpkg/info/grub-pc.postinst configure 1.98-1ubuntu5 2>&1 | tee ~/grub-pc.log

Could you please confirm if it hanged or not. If it hanged then please attach the file ~/grub-pc.log to this report
Is it a wubi installation ?

It was a Wubi installation. I run the command and it didnt hang
