/etc/default/grub: 25: Syntax error: EOF in backquote substitution
dpkg: error processing grub-pc (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2

It seems that you introduced a syntax error is /etc/default/grub. Could you please attach that file ? Thanks.
