I have reloaded Grub2 twice and still have a 15 to 25 second Grub Loading. message before the menu. I have tried the default and also a splash screen which both take the same time. Grub2 takes longer than Ubuntu to load. This system has two hard disks and three operating systems.
Is there a way to speed this up. I have tried disabling looking for operating systems and that does not help.
If it is not possible to speed up loading then is there a way to get rid of the Grub Loading message?
What is the use of taking the time and energy to make Ubuntu fast loading and then crippling it with a dead slow boot loader?
