My question remains . . . will there be a time in which "ubuntu" gets this
straightened out in their upstream "code" for grub . . . or biz as it has
been for at least a year . . . the time of "darkness" . . . . Before this
time of obscurity in grub2, grub2 actually functioned in the realm of
ubuntu . . . then there was an eclipse which has remained and been
supported as the "status quo" . . . seemingly not possible to adjust by the
devs in charge of ubuntu's grub2 packages???
