Comment 19 for bug 1848797

I wish to add this exact same issue (same error, same result) just struck me after attempting to upgrade to 19.10.

I have downloaded the "boot repair disk" ISO from Sourceforge as recommended on another Ubuntu forum, but am wondering if I should use it or the Ubu Live/boot disk?
