/etc/default/grub have 'GRUB_DEFAULT=0'
so its like setting ubuntu as default i suppose (or that fonction is buggy)
so why grubenv is also checked ? that seems redondant as 'grub' already have the required setting; or it is a borked grubenv file that is pushing that issue ? That does not explain why it is checked/rewriten.
