The update has only been rolled out to 25% of users yet. We cannot revert the update as the "out of memory" fixes are necessary for booting on OEM hardware with 4K screens and need to be in 22.04.2 images. I'm checking if we can halt updates to existing systems.

There always is some risk, equally the old grub binaries can run out of memory and fail to boot if you install nvidia modules, for example.

Please try to downgrade to the old grub version, the debs are:
