Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately it appears that you are still using the Jaunty kernel. Please read through https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems/KarmicCaveats & follow the instructions there to ensure that you are using the Karmic kernel.
If that does not resolve your issue please run "apport-collect -p alsa-base 512065" (without the quotes) from the terminal.
