Comment 4 for bug 26636

No extra information on the original bug but just to report:

I upgraded this machine to Dapper by doing a dist upgrade and the machine no longer hangs awaiting hand-off during booting as it did previously. I assume kernel 2.6.15-23 is doing something different to kernel 2.6.12-10.

I did not have the two memory card readers connected when I did the upgrade from Breezy -> Dapper so it might actually be that rather than the different kernel per se.

If I boot 2.6.12-10 then it still has the problem that it has to await the BIOS hand-off.
