you might think that this is only a superficial problem, but it renders
the text console completely unreadable. i am at a complete loss why
this hasn't even solicited a response from the maintainer(s)--let alone
why it hasn't been fixed given that you only need to add one line
to the top of the xpm file.
i would assume that this is just a case of MIA maintainers... but is
the grub team really MIA?
in any case, if i don't hear back by the weekend, i'll prepare an
NMU via the standard procedure.
