According to https://launchpadlibrarian.net/164591407/UbiquitySyslog.txt you've an inconsistent ntfs partition, that's probably the reason why the installation didn''t continued and the whole process failed.
Run chkdsk /f on Windows then reboot it twice and retry the installer, I'll mark in the meantime the bug as invalid.
