Bug Description

Whilst installing Gramps on my shiny new Vivid Kubuntu, I found:

Recommended packages:
  gir1.2-osmgpsmap-1.0

Naturally I want the mapping function. So:

sudo apt install gir1.2-osmgpsmap-1.0
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package gir1.2-osmgpsmap-1.0 is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'gir1.2-osmgpsmap-1.0' has no installation candidate

This was the case for Utopic, and is still the case for Vivid. The latest osmgpsmap is not available for Gramps because gpxviewer still depends on the old version:

Okay - gpxviewer has now been removed from Vivid and Wily. This has allowed the latest version of osm-gps-map to move from "proposed" to "released".
I had previously arranged for a backport to Trusty, and yesterday I prepared a backport for Utopic which is just waiting for sponsorship.
Then we should have the geography view back in all the latest Ubuntu releases!

All supported Ubuntu releases now have the required version of osmgpsmap (Trusty via the backports repository).
