Same here on a HP Pavilion dv6 3051sg, exactly the same touchpad. What's even more annoying than the missing multitouch is that it does not recognize a left click when a finger is still on the touchpad itself... It also likes to jump to the right when you do this (click left with a finger still on the touchpad)
Can't seem to get SHMConfig enabled, even though it's set to on in the xorg.conf... at least synclient says so when i run synclient -m 50: "Can't access shared memory area"
