Comment 46 for bug 617885

I would like to report that gaprted is still broken on Ubuntu 10.10 both amd64 and x86 (I have tested this on both architectures).

On both machines it dies during start up. Here goes mysterious result form gparted:

$ gksu gparted
======================
libparted : 2.3
======================
glibmm-ERROR **:
unhandled exception (type std::exception) in signal handler:
what: basic_string::_S_create

aborting...

I'm using LVM and have ext4, ntfs and swap partitions on my hard drive (in case it helps you diagnose the problem).
