Bug Description

At the default window size, the "apply" button is not visible, at least not in the german translation. ("apply" is "Anwenden" in this case...).

You have to increase the horizontal window size to see it.

That's relativly annoying for first time users. I search for a possibility to apply for severall minutes...

Same in spanish translation.

Can you check if still happens with latest Ubuntu 8.04.1 [1] or Ubuntu 8.10 [2] ?

Yes, it happens still in 8.10.

Bazon, can you provide more information, such as the output of this command:
apt-cache policy gparted

Confirmed on hardy heron live cd (selected German/Deutsch during boot).
Seems the problem is with the text of the "Resize/Move" button.

There is a solution in progress:
- Remove Undo button.
- Split the "Resize/Move" into two lines if text label is bigger than 14 characters.

This will probably be the future look (in German):
