Bug Description
Binary package hint: gparted
Hello,
When booting from the Gutsy Live CD, my swap partition (created with Feisty's installer and working fine) is reported as "Unknown", with a big warning sign beside it.
This is suboptimal, to say the least, as it implies that something is "broken", which is wrong. Plus it would probably be much better to just show the swap partition as what it is. It has type 82 and is shown as "Linux swap / Solaris" by fdisk. "parted" however, does not report any type, maybe the problem is there.
Thanks,
Jens

Thanks for your bug report. If you still see this problem in Ubuntu 8.10, please attach the output from fdisk -l and parted -l
