Bug Description

Recent version of nautilus (certainly gnome 3) require that thumbnailers register themselves with a .thumbnailer file instead of gconf.

I am attaching the file I wrote and saved as /usr/share/thumbnailers/xcf.thumbnailer to enable the gnome-xcf-thumbnailer

This same bug also occures on Lucid Lynx 10.04, however it can be fixed the same way:

Download the attachment xcf.thumbnailer:

Create the /usr/share/thumbnailers director as needed:
$ sudo mkdir -p /usr/share/thumbnailers

Copy the xcf.thumbnailer to /usr/share/thumbnailers/gnome-xcf.thumbnailer:
$ sudo cp xcf.thumbnailer /usr/share/thumbnailers/gnome-xcf.thumbnailer
