XCF thumbnailer doesn't work

Bug Description

Installed gnome-xcf-thumbnailer does nothing in Precise, because in /usr/share/thumbnailers/ there is no .thumbnailer file. I attached a file that worked for me. This (or similar) file should be added to /usr/share/thumbnailers/ while installing this package.

Thanks a lot for reporting this, however since gnome-xcf-thumbnailer is not a part of the default CD, this does not qualify as a papercut.

This same bug also occurs on Lucid Lynx 10.04, however it can be fixed the same way:

Download the attachment xcf.thumbnailer:

Create the /usr/share/thumbnailers director as needed:
$ sudo mkdir -p /usr/share/thumbnailers

Copy the xcf.thumbnailer to /usr/share/thumbnailers/gnome-xcf.thumbnailer:
$ sudo cp xcf.thumbnailer /usr/share/thumbnailers/gnome-xcf.thumbnailer
