Bug Description
When I plug in my Acer Advanced MP3 Player (256 MB Flash) in my up-to-date and fresh installed Ubuntu Breezy Installation (26.12.2005 - all updates installed) an Icon appears on my Desktop and a nautilus windows pops up showing me the content of my MP3 Player.
After having pushed some files on it I wanted to unmount it. I chose "Aushängen", which is German for "Eject", in Gnome's right click menu and the icon disappears.
But then, when I unplug my MP3 Player a message window pops up telling me that it couldn't eject the medium. Further it says: "eject: kann Gerät `/dev/sda1' nicht finden/öffnen" which means "eject: Can't find/open device /dev/sda1".
In that case no data is written on the MP3 Player.
This happens when copying larger amounts of data, not just 10 kb, as the time to unmount the stick between the click on the icon and the icon disappearing is obviously just too short to write the files on the player.
To help oneself around this it's possible to unmount the stick/player with the unmount command on the console, so it's not a general error.
Addition: It worked and works perfectly well under Ubuntu Hoary Hedgehog 5.04.
