OK - did a bit of an experiment. Taking care to keep all windows within the screen boundary and a smaller target window -
Next try - crashed again.
Then thought - I hadn't actually clicked in the target window to make it current. Did so, then inadvertently did a full screen screen shot - which worked.
Then tried again, set the targeet window as current, screen shot just the current window, it worked.
So does the problem occur if there is not a current window defined? (eg when what was the current window has been closed)
I'm really sorry but I'm having to get some work done, so I have to pass this one over for now. I'll come back later and move it on again if it is still here.
