the janitor has nothing to do with that, the issue reported there has been fixed, the logs file is not static but built on first start and users who didn't run previous jaunty version will have no such issue, I've reopen the bug to address the issue with the gconf key or log changes though

the nominations are there to mark blockers for jaunty, that issue now is a minor one happening for early jaunty users only and has no reason to be set as a blocker
