Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better, but unfortunately I've been unable to reproduce your issue on Ubuntu 8.10. On this same computer your are having this problem on, can you reproduce this issue with an Ubuntu LIVE CD and report back in the problem still exists on Ubuntu 8.10?
