Same problem with French Keyboard, doing rm -f ~/.config/dconf/user didn't change anything for me

For example I can't type û in some app , it makes ^u

Some examples :

App working :
Chromium, Firefox, LibreOffice, Unity, gedit, remmina

Non working
Thunderbird, Nautilus, Gnome Terminal
