Bug Description
To reproduce:
0) open gnome-terminal
1) Open a profile *without* transparent background. ie a solid colour background
2) position a firefox window or something with a lot of white beneath the majority of the gnome-terminal
3) hit enter enough times to reach the bottom. This should 'clear' the state of whether it shows transparent background or not
4)
> clear
to clear the terminal and present a prompt at the top
5) notice that the screen is unreadable as gnome-terminal has somehow 100% transparent background. See screenshot.
