Thanks for the report. I'd like you to test the upcoming version 2.29.3 (released tonight) which should enter Lucid in some time, and confirm it fixes the problem. The release you tested was a work in progress that has really changed as regards password management, so there's little point debugging it before we know it's still present in the latest code. I'll try to send you a reminder when the package is uploaded!
