[time-admin] 2.27.2 has no timezone selectable

Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools

Fresh upgrade to Karmic, besides bug #413975 it appears that time-admin's timezone dropdown list is completely empty. Selecting Close without making any selection causes the crash attached to this bug report.

Console output shows hundreds of these errors:
