Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools
Fresh upgrade of Karmic, displaying the world map when selecting a timezone in time-admin shows a distorted image. Half of the map is rendered in black, and the other half is rendered with color corruption. (Screenshot attached)
Console output shows:
(time-admin:9060): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_
(time-admin:9060): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_
(time-admin:9060): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_
(time-admin:9060): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_
(time-admin:9060): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_scale: assertion `GDK_IS_PIXBUF (src)' failed
Clicking close at this point causes a segmentation fault. (although it looks like it's a different problem so filing as separate bug)
