Hi, this is quite old but I am getting that in ubuntu 22.04. I don't recall experiencing this in 20.04.

DistroRelease: Ubuntu 22.04
Package: gnome-sushi/jammy,now 41.1-1 amd64
Uname: kernel 5.15.0-41-generic

To reproduce :
- install gnome-sushi (sudo apt install gnome-sushi)
- pres 'space' in an image or text file
Outcome: the preview is not centered
