Bug Description

$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu Groovy Gorilla (development branch)

updated to latest packages on groovy (apt update, apt upgrade) and rebooted. Logged in and left system unattended to make dinner, on return gnome-shell had crashed and dumped me back to login screen.
