Steps to reproduce:
-------------------

- Register a keyboard shortcut to trigger a "Copy a screenshot of an area to clipboard", i.e Shift+Ctrl+$
- Keyboard shortcut works fine and your mouse cursor becomes a cross-hair
- Now open a selectbox in Firefox Application, for example, or any UI item capturing user input and try to trigger a screenshot in this state: for example try to screenshot a HTML selectbox’ options
- At this moment, screenshot utility won’t change your mouse pointer into a crosshair and a bug occurs which prevents gnome-shell to respond to any mouse-click: I can’t click anymore on Dock icons, top bar actions and can’t click on Applications which are not in focus (I have to use Super+Tab to give focus to other applications)
- However, mouse "hover" is still captured by applications (I can see UI tooltips appearing) but I can’t click anymore

For the moment, the only way to recover my mouse click is to reboot Ubuntu or restart gnome-shell.
