Comment 145 for bug 1181666

I've just experienced this for the first time in Ubuntu 20.04 official release. I did a fresh install of 20.04 on a system I had been running 19.10 on without ever experiencing this issue. I am running the proprietary NVidia driver with a GT 1030 card, not using the built-in graphics in my Celeron 4900.

Driver Info: NVIDIA-SMI 440.64

Note that I have never experienced this with my main system (Ryzen 3600X with GT 710 card) running 18.04, also with the NVidia driver and running the HWE kernel.
