http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-desktop/gnome-settings-daemon/ubuntu/revision/114 adds the patch for introducing the new gconf key. I also sent this patch upstream.

http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-desktop/gnome-settings-daemon/ubuntu/revision/115 sets this new gconf key to true to disable the new xrandr-auto-configuration behaviour. This gets us back to what we had in Maverick beta and all previous releases.
