I'm pretty interested to help identifying the source of the problem. I verified and the problem does not seem to belong to xserver-xorg-input-evdev as downgrading that package to the one in intrepid is not enough to make the bug disappear. Does anyone has a idea in which project this bug can belong to? xserver-xorg-core itself?
