executable: gnome-display-properties
or
System > Preferences > Screen Resolution
When i change my resolution, it asks me if i want to 'keep settings' or 'use previous settings'.
3) It should restore my old settings if i choose or the time goes out
4) If i choose 'use previous settings', it does nothing. If the 20 seconds ends, it does noting too...
If a user choose a setting incompatible with his monitor/graphics card, then his screen would be black forever...
Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools
1) Ubuntu Hardy Heron - 8.04
2) gnome-system-tools 2.22.0-0ubuntu9
