Comment 38 for bug 838792

I am also encountering this bug on Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric). Originally I thought that it was some bug when updating packages but based on other comments here it is apparently random behavior. The system is rarely rebooted but the problem has been observed in perhaps 40% of the reboot cycles since the system was installed in late November.
