Binary package hint: gnome-session
If i start gnome with beryl/compiz enabled from gdm with a .desktop that calls the following scripts:
Compiz:
#!/bin/sh
# Compiz startup script!
compiz --replace gconf &
gtk-window-decorator --replace &
exec gnome-session
Beryl
#!/bin/sh
exec beryl&
exec emerald &
#sleep 1
exec gnome-session
All the programs that get invoked through gnome-session (update-notifier, gossip, evo-a-n, g-p-m, bt-download, g-v-m --sm-disable, beagled, nm-applet --sm-disable) startup with a delay of roundabout 2 minutes and evo-a-n crashes (looks similar to #66860).
This happens on different edgy installations. gnome-session: 2.16.1-0ubuntu1
