"Since the latest updates (20th March), there is still a 20+ second 'hang' before the wallpaper appears, however, now the panels do not load, but the desktop icons do. With no panels, Lucid is essentially unusable. Have to use ctrl-alt-delete to restart."

I can confirm that Lucid B1 with last weeks updates take a fair while to go from sucessful login to wallpaper; Gnome-DO however appears immediately, but no panels, desktop icons or anything else does for 10-15 seconds. When it does, everything seems to work fine however.
