Comment 12 for bug 534040

Since the latest updates (20th March), there is still a 20+ second 'hang' before the wallpaper appears, however, now the panels do not load, but the desktop icons do. With no panels, Lucid is essentially unusable. Have to use ctrl-alt-delete to restart.
