You get two flashes where one is expected. One flash is before the save dialog appears, then one briefly immediately after.

for me, the dialogue is visible as soon as the first flash starts to fade (i don't get to see it appear). the second flash is quite some time after... i would say as long as it takes for the first flash to fade away. the second flash is a single frame, no fading.

I am seeing the same thing in 64bit Ubuntu 12.04 with Nvidia GPU. The first flash I am fine with but the 2nd happens when the save dialog appears and is unneccarry.

I did a clean install.
