it seems that display manager does not react on PrintScreen and Fn+Del keys.
If key is processed normally (made screenshot) there is only one line KeyRelease (for PrintScreen button).

So I suggest to try external keyboard.
Another option is to try these buttons in Guest session or from Ubuntu 14.04 LiveCD.
